The functionality Cabinet Cache for Restore — is developed for IASO 2011 Client. This functionality allows to use memory or disk cache for restore.

By default Cabinet Cache for Restore is set to Memory Cache with 256Mb limitation. But you are able to set the limit for this cache yourself and when it is reached — old cabinets will be evicted.

To change the limitation (to e.g. 500Mb) you should add the following string to config.ini file:

[Cache]
RestoreCacheSizeLimitInMb=500

If you want to disable this functionality just add the following string to config.ini file:

[Cache]
RestoreCacheEnabled=0

If you want to change the type of this functionality from Memory Cache cache to Disk Cache please add the following strings to config.ini file:

[Cache]
RestoreCacheType=FS
RestoreCacheLocation=c:\temp
RestoreCacheSizeLimitInMb=500

where RestoreCacheLocation is location for temporary storage cabinets. When restore is completed all data will be removed from this location.
