User Management Functionality

User management functionality was developed on Management Console. In case you need to limit access rights of some users or on the contrary broaden them, you can easily realize using this functionality. When you create a user choose necessary Role, provided in MC, that will determine appropriate rights for this user. Available Roles are following: Administrator, Manager, Operator, Supporter, Reporter. Learn more about all possible actions of every Role you can from the table below:

Manage Users scenario

Add User

  • To start working with this functionality please go to Actions tab in Management Console and select Manage Users…

  • In the appeared Users window please click on the Add User button to create a new user.

  • Then in a new appeared window choose a necessary Role for your user:

  • Then specify username and password (these credentials will be required to login to the server under this user). You can also enable Show password with a check-mark to see your password in characters or keep it disabled to leave the password encrypted.

  • Then press the Save button and new user with the appropriate rights is created!

Edit User

  • Select a necessary user and click on the Edit button.

  • Update the fields you need and click on the Save button.

Remove User

  • Select any user you want to delete and click on the Remove button.

  • Confirm your intention to remove the user by pressing the Yes button or No if you want to cancel.
